He Reads Truth App Reviews

My wife reads She Reads Truth and so I thought Id try He Reads Truth. I think itll be cool to read the same plan as my wife (once I catch up) and compare He and She Reads Truth. I started reading This is the Gospel and enjoy the questions at the end. I also like that the plan is Bible-verse heavy vs. author-word-heavy.

This app has helped tremendously with giving consistency to my time in Gods Word each morning. Love that it is predominantly scripture. Great accompanying thoughts by various authors with each piece of scripture help provoke further thought of my own.

Love this app! I only wish it had NLT version on it!

Love this app and the daily devotionals. The wallpapers are a nice addition as well.

Simple, minimalistic approach. While the features of many other bible apps are useful, sometimes backing away from the busyness and going straight for the Word is the best tactic. This app also offers reading plans, which are set up for easy access. Love it already!

Objectively, I want to love this app. I even bought the Daniel study. Ive loved She Reads Truth and was stoked to hear He Reads Truth was coming with an app. Unlike SRT though, theres no community. You cant post and comment with other guys in the study. Theres only the same 4-5 monotonous questions that we answer over and over each day. Looking forward to an update that adds community to HRT that made SRT so edifying and useful.

I love the app so far. The Advent series has already made me cherish Christmas so much more. Im excited to be more inspired by the short studies in this app. Its very simple and creative.

HRT has great potential! The community is small, but once again it has potential. As users, we need to do our part to share this app to our friends, coworkers, etc. Then the community will grow. Im glad that Im part of the community now and can be witness of its growth.

I have several of the study series on my iPad and am currently walking through Phillipians. This is a great resource to always have available whenever I am. I would love to see support for the iPad for a more seemless experience while studying.

By far the cleanest and most well-designed Bible app Ive seen. Id like one or two more font options—San Francisco in particular would be nice. On the other hand, I respect the simplicity of the app as-is. Its dang fast too. Its pretty bizarre to me that its gendered though. Why not just publish a single "Read Truth" app instead of his and hers variants? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Hands down the best Bible app I have used. Not only are the aesthetics of this app incredible, but they even have an in-app search bar for quick referencing scriptures. I would recommend this app above all others.

Great responsive app! Simple, clean, and you have everything that you need... Except for enough content. They only have two reading plans available and I wish there were more available for free. You might as well just go to hereadstruth.com to view more reading plans for free on your phones web browser.

Very clean, minimal design. Plenty of studies to choose from with excellent authors. I have found them to be relevant, encouraging, and challenging.
